Weekend Reading on Visual Thinking 28 Jan 2011

January 28, 2012

I’ve spent most of this week reading, a lot of extremely interesting things around visual thinking and examples of how people are using visual thinking.

  1. http://niemann.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/01/20/on-hold/ – Great stuff at NYTimes
  2. http://www.bigtips.blogspot.com/ –  (TedXRainier talk Video) The video is Brilliant stuff  by Patti Dobrowolski  and she has a new book, Drawing Solutions (reminder to self, pick a copy).
  3. http://doodlersanonymous.com/  (from the About page – Doodlers Anonymous was founded to celebrate our addiction, and like any other, we’re hooked”)
  4. http://www.visualthinkingmagic.com/ – Adam is doing a wonderful job of breaking down Visual Thinking into its key components.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nYFpuc2Umk – You gotta watch this, Nancy Duarte is sheer brilliance in this Tedx talk and truly inspiring.
  6. http://www.grammarics.com/ – Awesome introduction to the nuances of grammar with visuals, super fun.
